Catheter soreness?

I am 6 weeks postpartum tomorrow (dr appt next week) and I am still sore from my catheter, I think?
The feeling when you finish peeing and your muscles tighten back up makes me sore towards the front of my vagina. I think it’s soreness from my catheter. 
Has anyone else experienced this? If so how long were you sore?

I remember having this, exactly as you described after I finished peeing. It eventually went away.  Not sure that it was from the catheter though.

I had a lot of discomfort with the catheter in while I was laboring but now i only have vaginal soreness 5.5 weeks pp

I only had the catheter in place for 2 minutes, so the short duration could be why I did not experience any residual discomfort after it was removed.

I had that too and it took maybe 4 months to feel normal.
