Among many other things I always said you wouldn't walk in my house and see so many toys you knew a child lived here.. ha I was funny. My living room looks like a daycare 🤣🤣
Thankfully it can for the most part stay in the corner of the room.

I was so naive and oblivious hahaha. I was going to continue my life but just with a baby: seeing friends, traveling, (I can blame covid for these two but really I’m not sure it would’ve been so different without covid), prepare all her food freshly, no screens, no being late everywhere, no co-sleeping, no messy mum in sweats and unwashed hair (you should see me now),... 🤣🤣

I said no tv. No CIO. No store bought food. No toys everywhere. No ultimate baby toys (the big loud ones). No clothing with words. 
Yup. All of that out the window.
Tv helps break up the day. He was fed pouch food because I couldn’t make good tasting baby food (seriously, nasty). He has a few ultimate toys that were hand me downs. He wears clothing with words.

I always said no screen time, no buying store-bought food - I would make ALL of it, and I was gonna do CIO sleep training. 
HAHAHAHA 🤣🤣🤣 NOPE. 
We put Daniel Tiger on when we cook dinner and on long car rides, she loves Puffs, and she gets any and all the cuddles she needs to help her fall asleep feeling loved and safe in mama's arms. 
Half my living room also belongs to her 😆

Im actually surprised I stuck with a lot of things I said I wouldn’t do and still haven’t done it even though a lot of family and friends said I wouldn’t stick to it. But all that is still subject to change lol.

I have a 3yr old and a 9mo old. I feel like I did mostly everything I said I would/wouldn’t do until my sassy argumentative 3yr old turned hmm 2.5-3 I guess. I never thought I’d bribe her with a lollipop(healthyish) to behave in a store or a doctors office. But being pregnant during that time changed a lot for me! The first pregnancy was a breeze but the second although no complications was soooo much harder and painful/uncomfortable! My husband was also working nights and weekends that entire time! Thank goodness he is off weekends now working an 8-5🙏🏻

So far I’ve pretty much done things how I wanted, but I’m honestly scared about when she starts walking/running. I always swore I would never EVER use one of those leashes and I will admit I used to judge people who use them. But I can barely keep up with her while she’s crawling and cruising! I really don’t ever want to resort to that, but parenting has taught me that things don’t always go the way you plan...
