Need advice

Not sure if this is allowed here or not, but I’m wondering if anyone can tell me their experience.

I’m currently miscarrying at about 6 weeks. I see some of you have gotten pregnant shortly after and counted the miscarriage as a period. The nurse at the ER suggested waiting a cycle but so I really need to wait or can I track my ovulation and try before my next period. Thanks for you help. Would also love to here if your doctor suggested this as well?
