Bigger bed better?

Hi may mamas! With big furniture and mattress sales going on this weekend ( pottery barn kids 30%off or more) we are going to get our little one her first bed. What size of bed did you buy and why? Twin? Full? Other?

My son who just turned 3 has had a full size since about 2. We loved it because we could lay next to him at bedtime, and he could sleep up against the wall so he never fell out. My 1 year old will probably have a twin because her room is smaller, at least the first few years

We’ll probably get our girls queens or fulls when the time comes! Twin seems soooo tiny to me after a few years

We brought a queen size as well as a base , it’s a floor bed, brought it so me and or sometime both me and my partner lay in our sons bed when he is feeling unwell or upset, when he goes to sleep we get up and leave, it’s been great.
