What should be done about non binary nominees at award shows?

General consensus from you all was that we should keep gender categories.  What should happen with people who don’t conform to a gender?
Should there be a new category in this case? I can imagine a lot of non binary people wouldn’t receive nominations due to issues such as these

I would assume they would be up for the genderless categories that already exist. Like my previous comment, things like “best (movie/video/art form), or best (job title)” it woudn’t make sense to include extras when there’s enough they can be nominated for. I think the categories are pretty diverse already.

I don’t think categories should be removed, but categories can be added on. Such as: Best Leading Role, alongside Best Actor, Best Actress. And there can be a preference for non binary people for Leading Role category since it’s not gender specific. And then Best Supporting Role, Best Supporting Actress/ Actor for the secondary roles.

Why does there have to be a best female and male actor catergories? There should just be one for each movie and genre to make it easier. They are all doing the same job. Idk if I want to bring gender equality into this....but yeah. 
It should just "Best Actor for so and so movie" or "Best Actor in an Action Movie", "Best actor in a Fight scene" and so one.
