Birth Control story time

So, today I had a standard check-up (I haven’t been to the doctors in almost 2 years) I spoke with the doctor about a few small concerns I had, including getting back on Depo which I’ve been off of for about 3 years. Of course they run a pregnancy test, and they ask me to pee in a cup again because the machine was bumped while it was running which they thought may have tainted the results. After the 2nd time peeing in a cup, a nurse comes in, gives me my flu shot, HPV, bronchitis, etc and tells me they’ll be back in with my Depo after they make sure I’m not pregnant. About 5 minutes later the doctor walks in with a small piece of paper and says “I can’t give you a birth control shot, your HCG levels are positive” and I VERY loudly said “you’re fucking kidding, right” (I was SHOCKED) he goes over standard procedure; getting me prenatals over to the pharmacy, and referring me to an OBGYN. I originally planned on swinging by Walmart on my ride home, but I simply couldn’t, I drove straight home. Needless to say, I’m pregnant! Baby #3, this is bio baby #1 for my fiancé and he’s beyond excited! 😭😊
