Message to all grandparents

Please for the love of God stop assuming that you have any authority or say over your grandchildren 🤦🏻‍♀️

The PARENTS decide who can see the baby and who cannot. It may make you mad, but stop assuming that because they're your son/daughter that they legally have to let you see their child.

They allow you to see their child out of respect but if you are pushy they have every right to take that visitation right away from you because it's THEIR baby.

You have NO say in their child period, it doesn't matter if you birthed them or not. Their baby is their baby not yours. You can't try to take legal action because you're upset that you have no say.

Furthermore, stop trying to convince the parents that you have a verbal say over their child. You cannot by any means regardless of where they are tell them what to do with their child.

If they want to feed it something that you wouldn't or take it somewhere or have people around it you have NO say in it whatsoever.

Threaten "grandparents rights", threaten to take them to court but you're the one who's going to look stupid. A judge legally cannot make a parent allow someone into the childs life (unless the parent is unfit).

So go ahead, complain, threaten legal action, but it won't give you a say in someone's baby just because they're your child. Grow up and let your kids raise their kids for a change, youve had your turn
