I’m worried about my son...

Hello, Mommas.. I’m a first time Mom and I’m worried about my son. I’m writing in this group since our babies are about the same age I wanted to see what any of you might have to say that could help. My baby doesn’t really respond to his name, nor does he wave or clap. He is the happiest baby I’ve ever met and understands emotions, he loves to play. Let’s himself be hugged and cuddle but doesn’t always want to. He doesn’t walk yet or crawl the best but he’s a chubby baby so I understand that. But I just feel weird why doesn’t he respond when I call him ? 6/10 times he will but not always. He doesn’t point or look where I point but, do any of your babies do these things ? I looked it up on Google and everything screams autism but, what if he’s just a baby and doesn’t quite get it yet ? Please please if you read it please I ask you respond to get some clarity, I will be calling my pediatrician too.
