Update to Induction/C-Section

What a journey this has been!

So to briefly summarize—I came to the hospital on Wednesday for an induction. We spent 1 day trying to soften my cervix, then the next morning they broke my water. I’m the afternoon I got an epidural for the pain because the contractions were very very painful. But overall my contractions were just not happening without pitocin and they just really weren’t productive contractions even while on pitocin.

So after about 32 hours of my water being broken and having painful I developed a fever and the doctor decided it was time to do a couple-section (I had made it 6cm, but was stuck at that stage for hours)

The c-section went well! Thank God!! And now we have our baby girl, Natalie Jean 💕

She came into this world yesterday at 5:52pm, weighing 7 lbs 10 oz
