3rd Trimester Ultrasound?

I can’t remember. Is there an ultrasound in the third trimester? I haven’t had an ultrasound done since the anatomy scan. 27+1 weeks now and saw my dr the other day, she didn’t mention one. Also just was diagnosed with gestational diabetes (again) 😣 Thanks!

Typically not unless you are high risk.

I have a high BMI so they do multiple at the end to watch babies growth, but with my two previous pregnancies (different drs) I had one at 36 weeks and the other dr didn't do them unless there was reason!

Not every ob is the same. Im not high risk and my pregnancy is healthy and I've had one everytime I've went back in the last trimester. I started going weekly at 35 weeks and they still give me ultrasoundd every time I go back but they're mainly 4D. Every ob office does things different so comparing one doctor to the next and what procedures or tests they do is just a confusion because just because this person's ob stops doing ultrasounds doesn't mean the other person's does

Getting one at 34 weeks as a growth scan and that will be my last one.

Not usually  for me unless theres a growth concern or high risk. 
Some doctors do them montly ive heard in the states (im in Canada, we do free here lol so I get qhat i get haha)

I had one with both of mine. But, 1st I was high risk and they were checking his size. 2nd I was high risk and they were looking to see if baby was still breech.

They’ll only do one now if they have a concern (around 35 weeks we had one because my fundal height was measuring small 3 appointments in a row).
