Are you having a third trimester ultrasound?

I'm still waiting on the date. It makes me kind of nervous, since I was diagnosed with circumvallate placenta at my 20 week scan, which could lead to restricted growth for baby (or a few other complications according to google - my doctor really only stressed the weight factor).
Told her I was happy to see baby again, and will be trying to stay positive, but since I'm just filled with this guilt.. and fear. I'm trying to shake it off. Needing a scan is just a good thing, since baby will be extra monitored.. but I'm sure others might feel the same?
Were you notified of a need to assess baby later again?

Since 35 is considered “geriatric” I will have a 3rd trimester scan to check on baby before birth. Even though I had a super easy cake right on her due date vaginal delivery last year! Happy to see baby again.

I’ll get ultrasounds every week since I’m high risk and they have to check baby to make sure she’s not becoming anemic.

With my first my sons kidneys were enlarged (significantly, like almost 2x the size they were supposed to be) and his placenta was low lying. I had to have a repeat ultrasound to see what had resolved. Thankfully it was all of it!
With my second I had 4 ultrasounds in the 3rd trimester all within the last 4 weeks of my pregnancy.

I had one for sizing with my second at 38 weeks. My first didn't require it because I was at a birth center with midwives. I'm assuming I'll need one at 38 weeks to check baby's size.

I had a third trimester ultrasound with my son last year, because they wanted to monitor him since he was measuring small for growth. He was born perfectly healthy at 6 lbs 10 oz, and it was nice to see him again since I hadn't seen him since 20 weeks.
I haven't had my second ultrasound yet, so I don't know about this baby, but I wouldn't worry about it if it happens again.

I was diagnosed with circumvallate placenta as well at my 20 week anatomy scan. I’m being seen at 34-36 weeks to make sure baby is growing so that’ll be my third ultrasound

Yeah I was referred to a in hospital clinic for anatomy scan and they scheduled me for another visit, I was like What? He said u weren't old last time... Ok buddy
