Am I wrong?

been with my boyfriend for 3 going on 4 years. We have one child together, a house, etc. Our relationship has been pretty rocky since the beginning but it’s worked. With all that being said, he hasn’t proposed. It makes me so sad seeing all these girls being proposed or married and i’m just here with no ring or anything. He does say we’re gonna get married and refers me as his wife when meeting people. Am I wrong for thinking i’m wasting my time? I truly don’t know why he hasn’t proposed. Oh and we’re trying to have another baby, just throwing that out there
