Teething cookies ?

I'm a FTM and was wondering when it's safe to try teething cookies?She's 6 months at the end of this month but I'm paranoid that she will choke but she has been on pureed solids since she was four months old. Is there any rule of thumb or starting point?

I've bought the gerber hard teething ones, and my baby bites off too big of bites and they don't dissolve fast enough not to choke, so I'm waiting to give her those when she's more ready, but Walmart sells rice teethers that literally melt in the mouth and she does great with those! Eats the whole thing and hasn't choked once.

We started at 5 months, my baby goes crazy over them. They melt in their mouths and make a huge mess and they love it lol.

Every baby will be different. Its recommended 7-9 months. Its pretty much when ever you think they are ready. I personally dont think it’s necessary to rush them into finger foods. I think we started my daughter at 7month and she wasnt quite ready, it usually went to waste and she did actually choke a few times even though she was eating purees and some soft food. My thing was her being too aggressive and biting off a bigger piece that she should. So this time we will wait closer to 9 months

Mine is 6 months old too and we started them. The ones that literally disintegrate when they get wet. I break them in half. She does really well with them
