Choosing a hospital / birthing center

Hi all! I’m pregnant with my first and have no idea how to go about choosing a hospital or birthing center? My husband and I recently bought a house in the suburbs and my usual OB/GYN and hospital she is affiliated with is now ~30-45 mins away. The closest hospitals aren’t as good, but there is another good hospital ~20 minutes away but it would be a switching into a completely different healthcare system and doctor. How did everyone make their decisions?!
