Personally i believe the contractions come first then the after birth lol it’s something about the afterbirth pain ( the cramps )

By afterbirth I mean the weeks of recovery for the vag. 🙈 otherwise the contractions before epidural. It really wasn’t that bad tho bc my water was already broken and I was progressing so I got epidural pretty quick 🙂

For me it was contractions before I got the epidural.
The pushing was just a lot of pressure.
Then after, them pushing on my stomach after to make my uterus contract was pretty painful too.
