Would you feel uncomfortable with this?

So apparently my mil decided that when she turns 60 in November, she will be getting pictures done and will be including my children.  Even went so far as buying them outfits and dropping them off before she even asked my husband about it.  
I don’t feel comfortable with this bc my kids will be 21 months and 5 months so my son won’t even be old enough for his flu vaccine yet. It’ll be flu season and we’re in the middle of a pandemic. I know my mil will be in both of their faces.  Am I stupid for feeling uncomfortable with this?  I will admit I don’t really like her so Idn if that’s clouding my judgement or not.
ETA If it was my mom asking, I’d say no in a heartbeat.

I think your irritation could be due to the fact that you don't really have a great relationship... I had a terrible relationship with a former MIL and couldn't stand her near my child. I LOVE my current MIL and wouldn't mind her wanting to do photos with my kids. In fact, I've actually done her shoot with my kids.

I would feel uncomfortable that she would want to do pictures and bought them outfits without talking to me about it first. But I’m not too fond of my mil also so I would never allow her to have pics with my kids like that. Pandemic or no pandemic 🤣

Do the outfits include masks? Seriously... people not taking this pandemic seriously are driving me insane. It’s only extending it 🤦🏻‍♀️
The only people allowed to see my baby (or me) without a mask are my mom and mil, but we have strict rules. My mom saw a friend inside and the friend wasn’t wearing a mask so my mom is keeping hers on for two weeks when she sees us. 
I’d be asking LOTS of questions before even considering something like this. And if it’s inside, forget about it.

I don’t think you’re wrong for being uncomfortable. I wouldn’t be so worried about the vaccinations though. It’s weird to me she bought them outfits and wants pictures with them in my opinion. 
Like what about you and your husband? Are they just not going to include you? That’s what’s weird to me lol

Is the photo shoot going to be of the time...featuring grandma six feet apart? I would feel uncomfortable....Pandemic or not, its still flu season going to be going on and our little ones are super prone to that. Then throw in covid and you got a bad idea. I would politely decline and tell her that while you think its a cute idea to do a photoshoot, your little one's health and well beings are FAR more important. Why is she not worried I wonder....she's right up there in the at risk type.

I don’t think you’re wrong for thinking like that, it’s irritating when people just assume it’s ok to do things with your children without consulting you. The parents should ALWAYS have to be ask permission for anything regarding their children

First of this was your mom would you say no? 
If you are going to allow it maybe some ground rules would help you feel more comfortable, like her quarantined for 2 weeks prior, outside photo shoot now more than 30 min tops, no kissing of hands or faces,  photographer in a mask,  grandma in a mask until just before picture then remove it.

Most people the older they get the more they try to cherish time... I don’t think it’s weird she bought outfits It’s her shoot (if you allow her)

Nope, not stupid at all! That’s a little weird that she would go ahead and buy outfits without discussing this with either of you. I swear sometimes grandparents forget that they’re not entitled to do whatever they want, whenever they want with their grand kids.
Also my own mother mentioned doing family photos with both of my siblings and their families next month and I said no thank you. We’re the only ones with a child under the age of two and I’m not willing to risk her getting sick. My mom doesn’t know what personal space is with kids and is always up in their faces🙄😬
