Anemia? Iron tablets not working...?

Question

So I had bloods taken at 28week which showed iron levels are low so I was put onto iron tablets... I have been taking these for 4weeks now and had follow up bloods done this week at 32 week which showed my iron levels are still dropping? 
Anyone else been in a similar position? Experiences?? x

My midwife recommended spatone, it's a natural iron water so easily absorbed. 
I used to put it in a glass of orange juice to help with the taste. 
I also tried to up my intake of iron rich foods.

Take the iron tablet with a glass of orange juice, the vitamin C helps you to absorb the iron

I was given iron tablets in the first trimester due to anaemia. I was told they can take a while to work. I felt worse before I started feeling better. What dose are you taking and are you still taking your prenatal tablet every day as well?

Yeah me they upped my iron and told me to eat iron rich and vitamin c rich food

I had to have iron infusion at my local hospital... it worked so much better cause I started to be symptomatic.

Yel happened to me i had to have 2 iron transfusions they told me the tablets take a long time to work and to have fresh orange juice when taking them as taking them along jt doesnt absorb xx
