How long after birth...

Can I get back to my every day stuff? With my due date right around the corner my mother-in-law has been oh so kind enough to constantly remind me that caring for the baby is solely on me. Duh... but I’m super concerned about how long after birth I can get back to my roles as a wife? She’s made it very clear to me that I need to continue everything I was doing before as well. That’s how she does it in her home as our husband’s roles are solely to provide.

I brought this up to my husband and he’s in 90% agreement with her. So now I’m anxious with how am I going to get it all done. 😔
