37+4 weeks and cramping

So I have been cramping for the past week, I also get contractions every so often sometimes every few hours, sometimes every 30 minutes but they end up going away. I’ve also lost multiple pieces of my mucus plug with blood on it. I get this is all good signs and that it means labor is near, maybe in the next few days or the next few weeks but I’m wondering how long these cramps will continue without labor progressing. I’m also 3 1/2 cm dilated and 50% effaced so I know they’re doing something! But my labor just won’t progress. Any one been through this before?
