Water leak?

How do you know if you’ve got a leak in your amniotic fluid? I’m 35 wks today and lost a lot of jelly plug which was brown for 24 hrs early in the week. The midwife said watch out for waters, reduced movement, bleeding or contractions as baby maybe wanting to come early. Any of those happen go straight to triage. I am leaking little bits of liquid when I have to get up or sit down. I did the sniff test but smells like nothing not pee or sweet and it’s only a few drops and it dries on my underwear without any stain. I think I’m talking myself into it as I’m now paranoid after midwife said watch for those things. Baby is moving fine and a part from pressure I’m not feeling anything else. How would I know?
