Maybe it counts?
So not sure if this counts as self care to others but it does to me. One of the last things I bought for myself that wasn't food and was over $8 was a book last month and before that was a wallet and 3 bras like 6 months ago. I guess I hadn't thought of it really but my husband made the comment that I always spend my money on our sons and my stepdaughter. He was trying to point it out to me. I don't really buy things for myself even though we both agree to a $50 spending limit a week. We each get $50 to spend on anything we want and dont have to discuss with the other. For the past few weeks ive been spending my 50 on things I want for after our son gets here. Currently 6 months pregnant. We have literally everything we need to bring a baby home except for the car seat. Waiting till closer to time. So everything ive been buying is just like icing. Tjings I wanted with my first but couldn't have because we didnt have the money. I.e. specific brands of bottles, specific baby equipment. So I decided to take one of my weeks and do something for me. My husband had been talking about subscription boxes for the first 8 months of our marriage but mostly things like lootcrate. Not my interest but I know about ipsy, birch box, stitch fix, and and have started hear about more so I'm checking them out. Plan to subscribe to these next month
