What are your Docs saying about covid precautions?

Newly pregnant here and waiting for my first Dr. Appointment! Im just curious - not super looking for personal oppinions since there are many perspectives on how dangerous covid is and everyones.comfort levels are different. My quesition is - what are your DOCTORS or MIDWIVES saying to you about working in person and going out and about during covid? I am not planning on going to restaurants or doing social gatherings unless outside, 3-5 people max, and socially distanced. But my job is in person and Ive been to my gym a couple times. Any info?

Two weeks before I delivered my doctor did tell me to go under strict quarantine. They asked me about working and I said my company is working from home now. Not sure if something else would’ve been suggested if I wasn’t.

My OB told me to stay home as much as possible, especially once my daughter was born.

Mask mask mask and no gatherings. My midwife said everyone who came around me needed to wash their hands, wear a mask and hopefully be quarantined or taken a test within the last 72 hours. Unfortunately there is not a lot known about how it affects pregnancy yet but I basically stayed inside my whole pregnancy and would only see friends or fam that I KNEW were following guidelines (I only saw friends/fam when I was twenty weeks and maybe again when I was 39 weeks.) It was lonely but I got through it. My husband really helped me through it too.
