What do you guys think about the name Soleil for a girl?

(Pronounced so-lay) I haven’t decided on a middle name yet but I thought this was super cute. Middle name suggestions would be appreciated! I don’t really want anything basic (Grace, Marie, Rose), so unique names would be awesome. Thanks gals!

Not gonna lie, I would have 100% pronounced it wrong if you hadn't posted, but I'm assuming it's a french name? It's pretty but you may need to spend a lot of time educating people.

I think it’s cute! But, like the other comments said, as per usual when using a name from a different language, you’ll likely be constantly correcting the pronunciation of the name or the child as they are older will be. Also, in the US at least one of the only reasons people may know the word is bc if Cirque du Soleil, so they may get a lot of jokes about being an acrobat (but if they did become a gymnast or performer that’d also be super cool)

I’m pretty surprised there are people who have never seen the word soleil before and don’t know how to pronounce it. This is not one I would have said to worry about it being pronounced wrong, but alas. 
I’m not really a fan of it as a name, but it’s a pretty word.
