The sweet conversation my family had
TW: sorry for all the trigger warnings on my post, life is crappy.
So I want to talk about how sweet my family was. We all gathered to be there for my grandmas passing, and i don’t want to type the whole thing here again so just took up “she waited for them.”
Well after she took her last breath, my great uncle said “well, she said bye to one baby and hello to another!”
Because just a few months ago my cousin lost his first born 3 day old baby to MCAD, it’s a condition where his body could not generate his food into energy.
And when he passed, I told my aunt that he went to my great grandma (not the one who recently passed, I was talking about HER mom)
And so when my uncle said that, my aunt was like “oh you know nana won’t give her that baby and you know my mom is standing there pissed off saying “YOUVE BEEN HERE WAY LONGER THAN ME!” And my nana is saying “yeah well YOU get the next thousand years. Leave me alone.”
And now i can’t stop picturing my mema and nana arguing in the after life about holding the grand baby lol.
It may be morbid to some, but you have to find some kind of joy when so much loss is happening around you
