At 11 months should i be feeding my baby real food?

Hes still eating puree food ..i saw an article about 11month olds and milesstones and they were talking sbout eating and gave examples like them eating scrambled eggs and yogurt. 
What should i br feeding my baby by now?

No mom-shaming here lol, your kid will be just fine. But you should definitely switch to "solids" (not pureed) sooner rather than later!

He could have been started on mashed potatoes, even softer food at this point no shame but purées could be used just not as the only source. 
I know kiddos who were stealing food off plates by this point. So better now than later.

My baby is 11 months and eating real food now. She basically skipped purées. She will eat literally anything. Look up baby led weaning examples on Pinterest. Scrambled eggs, any fruit cut up small enough, any steamed veggie cut up small enough, pasta, rice, any meat cut up small enough, toast. My baby loves sandwiches lol. She’ll try whatever we’re eating and usually eat a meal of whatever we have. It’s really easy once you get started!

Your baby can basically eat anything you can right now with the exception of honey. (My doctor was also a bit iffy on shellfish too.) just make sure choking hazards are cut appropriately. Ex grapes should be halved lengthwise.

My nephew wasn't fed real solids until late and he had trouble figuring out how to chew, so much better to get eating now. Our go to foods were overcooked pasta that the kids could practice picking up and mashed easily in their mouths. I served it plain without sauces or salts or anything. Also steamed broccoli cut thin and lengthwise. Also cereals that baby can grab and self feed.

Yes he should, but I understand because my son is super picky. He’s 14 months and hardly eats anything. I offer him anything and everything and he just spits it out. 
Definitely try to give your kid pretty much anything you’re eating, BUT if they’re picky, don’t hesitate on purées so you know they’re eating.

My LO is almost 10 months old and we do a mix. I always give her finger foods to practice with, but the bulk of her calories comes for purées. My firstborn didn’t make the switch until 15 months, she was just completely uninterested in food in general that purées were the easiest to make sure she at least at something. Just start mixing in some softer foods like avocado, mangos, mashed potatoes, let them play and have fun!
