Double standards
Insight on MY situation. I don’t smoke weed (constantly cough) but I do take an edible once every 2-3 weeks to help me sleep. I get insomnia and sometimes don’t sleep until 5am. I’m also incredibly depressed and have a lot of anxiety. I only ever take the edibles when I put my kids to sleep or right before they go to sleep so that it kicks in as they’re asleep. I’ve tried melatonin but it doesn’t help. I only take 10mg indica gummies because anything higher makes me sick. The brand I take is Kanha and they’re known for the accuracy in their product.
My question is, a lot of parents drink beer or wine and don’t think anything of it but at the same time shit on parents that smoke weed or take edibles. I’ve seen parents plastered in front of their kids but swear they’d never get high because they don’t want to be a bad role model for their child. Why the double standards? Why is it ok for some parents to get tipsy or drunk but not ok for other parents to get high? My kids have never seen me high nor would I ever do it during the day but some parents openly flaunt their drinking with their children around.
It’s legal in my state so it’s not like I’m finding a sketchy dealer.
