My kid just started public school pre k (age 3). I got pics from her teacher today of the kids on the playground and it shows all the kids wearing lanyards (supplied by the school) around their necks for their masks (they have to wear them indoors but not outdoors - so I guess they thought this was the best way to handle that - put the masks on a lanyard around each kids neck). In theory that’s a great idea but in practice I think it’s not wise. Most playgrounds specifically say not to have things like drawstrings and necklaces because they could be strangulation hazards on the playground. Not only that but I saw a pic of one kid leaning over walking through a tube and her mask is dragging on the tube - unsanitary and a tripping risk.

So obviously I want to say something (please comment if you think I’m being over dramatic - I’d like all opinions), but my problem is with the wording.

Can you help me figure out the best way to word my concerns to the teacher please?
