What website did you use to order breast pump?

I apparently didnt think it would be this complicated to order a pump through insurance. My BCBS insurance is saying I need to order a pump through a DME company. 🙄 I really want spectra breast pump but finding it hard to get it ordered without having to submit a separate claim and private paying initially

Loads of websites didn’t take my Insurance... I just got off the phone an hour ago to ask them who tf was the provider I chould get mine though. And they told me the model I’d be getting.... it’s some awful clinical looking thing! I’m going to try contacting the supplier instead of my insuranse. Anyways I have no clue what advice to give since I’m half way though my own battle for one! But I feel you pain!

If BCBS says you have to use a DME, they should have a list of preferred providers you can work with. I order mine through a local DME instead of the online ones and it's actually really easy. And they have a lactation consultant on staff to walk you through the different options and talk to you about your choices. They also are able to give me supplies that my insurance covers - I get a $450 allowance on my plan so depending on which pump I choose, I have the balance left to spend on other things I may also need.

Aeroflow
Super easy just had to take a picture of my insurance card and they sent me a list of all the pumps that were covered. They also broke down the ones that covered most of the cost but I would have to cover the rest. Pump came 6 weeks before my due date

Is this BCBS as in Anthem? Aeroflow goes through them with a prescription from the DR, I’ve gotten three now with no issues. But I do have cova care, as opposed to health keepers.

Milk Moms. Not sure how wide of an area they cover, but it was easy for me. My midwife sent them the prescription, they called, I picked my pump (Spectra), filled out some online paperwork, and it arrived a week later.

Aeroflow is what I used and BCBS covered it. All I had to do was submit my midwifes info in the Dr section
