I run a preschool and one of the moms knows I’ve been TTC almost a year now (when we got married in December, I thought I’d have my baby this month). She is pregnant with her third and told me that is really good I’m not pregnant right now because my husband wouldn’t be allowed to any of the appointments. She said it’s okay for her because it’s her third, but she would not want to have her first now. She also said that if her husband is there during the birth, he will have to stay in the hospital the full four days and not allowed to leave. Maybe it’s just the area that I’m in. Has anyone else heard of these rules? I’ve been so sad that I can’t get pregnant, but maybe it’s a good thing for those of us who are struggling TTC our first.
