COVID or cold

Anyone’s baby/toddler ever have COVID? How did they do?

My 18 mo just developed a fever overnight. Husband has cold symptoms but he didn’t have a fever or cough etc

I’m freaking out. I know they say children usually do ok but I don’t want her to even transiently suffer or have long term effects later that we still don’t know about since this virus is so new 😞

Could it be just a cold? Do toddlers get a fever with a cold? She did sound a bit stuffy when crying

Also, how did they do with the COVID test? I’m so worried about the test as well. She normally doesn’t even let me get near her nose so Idk how that’ll work...
