Awwww 😭😢

I can see on my partners face whenever my oldest son cries for his dad that he feels hurt. Not mad, but hurt. He told me face to face before that he feels like my son doesn’t want him as his dad. 😔 we started off with him calling my partner “uncle”, and now it’s been stuck. Calling an elder Uncle/aunty is a respect thing here. It’s kind of an informal Mr/Miss.

I feel so bad sometimes! He loves my son so much, and my son loves him. He’s been in my kids life for two years now. How do I help my

partner realize that even though he’s not his dad, he’s still really special to my son? 😕
