Hey ladies,

I’m due to have my third baby on the 24th November, that’s when my c section is booked.

My children’s dad left when I was 4 months pregnant and now he’s refusing to help me at night with the kids, he said he’ll come in the mornings and do school runs for me but he doesn’t want to stay at night🙄 (I kind of feel like if your not prepared to help me fully don’t help me at all)

I have a toddler she’s 2 turning 3 in February and a 7year old so she’s fine.

But I’m worried about having to get up in the night with my toddler if baby wakes her up etc.

My mums offered to help but it means her husband takes time off work and I just don’t think it’s fair that everyone has to put there life on hold because my ex can’t priorities his kids & helping me for 2 weeks.

So I’m wondering if anyone’s been through the same thing, got kids and had a c section and been alone an how was it?

I live in a small flat so that’s why I’m worried baby will wake her up.

Also did anyone do school runs straight after? There both in separate schools so it takes me about a hour to do school runs in the morning - I don’t drive. How bad is walking for long distances straight after a c section?

Iv had 2 previous c sections but my ex was with me then.

I’m very prepared to do this alone I just would love to hear anyone else’s experiences doing it alone! Because it is keeping me up at night.
