so I've been wondering, I know promise rings are important to women, but do men care about them too? I want my bf to get me one but I'm just curious if they’re really as important to men as they are to women. 

update; I see a lot of women saying that promise rings don’t matter after high school because of engagement rings. but wouldn't a promise ring(even as adults) lead to the engagement ring if you're not ready to get engaged yet? btw thank you for everyone's input!
