Affording IVF

I want to do IVF so bad, after 3 failed IUI attempts I feel this is our only option. However, I'm scared of being able to afford it. Any tips or suggestions? I am more than willing to put $15,000+ towards having a baby, but I'm scared I will spend all of that money and I won't get the outcome I desire. I guess my questions are; what kind of tips do you guys have to be able to afford it? Did you take out a loan? Come out of pocket? Could you make payments, or did you have to put all the money up front?
