Hidden twin?

Had my second ultrasound today at 8+5, baby is doing well but the obgyn wasn’t sure if there was something behind the baby, like a second baby. We saw something but it might just be some bad reflection or something or actually a baby. Did that happen to anybody else and they actually had twins?

My doctor said my uterus is measuring rather large for how far along I am. Baby is measuring fine and on schedule so no worries there but my doctor was confused with why my uterus is so big already. I am thinking I might have the possibility of a hidden twin. We will see though...

Happened to a friend of mine. She found out at 20 weeks it was twins and looked back on old ultrasounds and could see what they thought was a shadow on a few

It did not happen to me. Mine at 8 weeks were very visible. But definitely could happen with identical twins. Mine are fraternal.

Yes this is actually happening to me now with this pregnancy. Well I do have 2 sacs meaning twins. But the doctor might see a third one. There is a shadow of a third . Tuesday we will see more better .
