Do you like noun/nature names, or prefer standard regular names?

Question

By noun/nature names, I mean names that are already words/nouns like River, Winter, Sky, Storm/ie, Rose, Brooke, Lilly, etc. 
By standard names, I mean names that are regular and fairly common like Amy, Elliot, Emma, Sam. Aka names that aren’t nouns outside of being a name.

I like some of them, like Iris, Rose, Brooke etc but some are a little too "out there" for me. And I really don't like 2 nouns put together for a first and middle, it sounds too cartoonish. Example I like Violet, I like Sky, but don't like Violet Sky.

In Norway we have quite a lot of old Norse nature names like Stein(stone), Ask(Ash), Hauk(hawk), Bjørn(bear), birk(birch), Åse(hill), Ravn(raven), Svanhild(swan-hild), love those, but with only a few exceptions I hate new "Unique" crazy noun names.

My friends named her son Ridge and we were all kinds like what??? Lol but it totally fits him. I love it now!!

I love noun names but could never use them because of my last name. Go ahead, try to pair any with Recker. I dare ya!

I love them...but me and my siblings all have a nature themed middle name. My mom is pagan and it was important to her. My middle name is Dahlia, I have 2 sisters and 2 brothers. (Some adopted some biological). Their middle names are River, Canyon, Rose, and Aspen. A lot of friends growing up had nature/eco based names also and I have always thought it wad normal. My classmates had names from Andrew and Sarah to Oak and Starry.  Maybe unconventional I would take Starry over whatever the hell Elon Musk's named his kid or La-A. I also went to college with a kid whose last name was Weener (pronounced way-ner but ya...) His dad thought it was funny so he named him and his brother Harry and Major. Some people should not be able to name a child haha
