Pain during sex

so ive never really experienced pain during sex before except for when my bf would go super deep or super hard but it was kind of like a good pain?? i have super irregular periods because of my nexplanon and sometimes end up bleeding for a long time(this usually doesn’t stop us tho) i’m again 1 month into my period and sex hurts SO bad. like we tried a few weeks ago and it was super painful but he luckily doesn’t last long lol. however the past few times ive had to tell him to stop in the middle of it because the pain is just that bad. i mean it had me in tears and i haven’t wanted to have sex since. this period in general has been super weird for me(blood clots and super bad cramps) and i made a gyno appointment back in august but they couldn’t get me in till october. at this point i just dont know what to do but it’s SO miserable.
