Cradle cap

Ok, so my little man has a mild case of cradle cap. I go one day without washing his hair, and it gets worse. Any advice on how to treat it. I already wash his hair and brush out the loose scales. I tried coconut oil, but that made it worse. So I just brush his scalp before the bath, during the shampooing, then before bed time. He also seems to grab at his head alot. They claim it doesn't itch....but I think it does. Going to call the Dr. Tomorrow to see if they have another suggestion. But I would rather use natural products.
