Toddler complaining of pain

My daughter is 3 and a couple weeks ago she started complaining of her poop hole hurting, but at that time she was constipated. She is no longer constipated and its been a while since she complained. Today suddenly she starts whining that it hurts again. She did have a bowel movement earlier today and it was normal. She started complaining when she was getting ready to go to sleep. I checked and its not red. I asked her does she need to go use bathroom she said no. Should I give her constipation ease medicine or see if she does it again tomorrow? She did fall asleep.
