can i refuse to come to work?

So our job has is wearing N95 and PPE BUT literally everyone has been getting covid, my mom has asthma, she’s diabetic, and she has so many other problems. Not only that but i seriously do not want to work at an environment like this. 
Can i refuse to come in? I live in Plover, WI and i work in a care facility.

Being that you’re in Wisconsin and nobody in that state is taking this seriously I’d guess your coworkers are getting it outside the workplace and bringing it in. Probably being idiots and going to bars or something just as stupid.

Yes, I think if you do not feel safe, you really shouldn't. 
I understand some people just do not feel its safe to work. 
I am being very extremely careful, myself. I refused to go into work from the beginning- I knew my company didn't have my back. But I understand not everyone is in the position to do so.
I hope you have a remote option, no one should have to compromise their health and safety, or their family's, for a job, when, I insist, this is temporary! 
I definitely think your mother's life is more valuable than a job. I hate that people are put into these ethical positions, when the people in power ought to be making more ethical decisions- well, they will not protect us. So one really has to look out for oneself.

PPE and n95 masks don’t work if you aren’t using them properly. It sounds like you wouldn’t really be able to work from home though with your job though so I’d maybe think of trying to get on somewhere else

I worked in a long term care facility and quit for reasons similar to this.  My job was not taking it serious at all and wouldn’t even giving us proper PPE even though we had covid outbreaks throughout the facility. Your mom is more important than your job

Id try talking to your boss and maybe you can file for fmla i think its called? Or use up some vacation time in the meantime

If you wear your PPE appropriately you won’t get COVID-19. If you don’t want to work in a high risk place, then the only option is to quit.

I wouldn't think so. The whole reason why people wear the masks and PPE stuff is for protection. There are steps you can take to lower the risk (obviously wearing the required items, keep sanitiser with you, get changed in your garage or something so whatever you wore to work doesn't get inside the house, etc).
