Leaky tampon 😩

So I never had this problem before giving birth. But now, every time I’m on my period/bleeding, I’ll use a tampon and the blood will leak past the tampon 😩 the tampon will soak up just a small amount of blood, if any, and it’ll just leak.

I’ve tried making sure it’s inserted up far enough, trying a different brand, making sure I’m using the correct absorbency for the flow, but it doesn’t help 😩 am I the only one who is dealing with this? Any tips to help?

Also, I’m on my 2nd month using birth control for the first time and I have so much breakthrough bleeding 😭😭 I might as well be on my period for 2 1/2 weeks (that’s how much!) & it’s not just spotting.

I hope by the 3rd month it’ll lessen 🤞🏻 I’ve been looking it up and everywhere I look says that by the 3rd month there should be less breakthrough bleeding.

And my tampons that keep leaking don’t help 😭😭 sorry, I’m just venting! Lol
