IVF - 1 or 2

I’m about to go through

IVF

with my husband. As far as I’m aware I don’t have any fertility problems.... I’m nearly 40.

When we have the egg collection (which I’m really nervous about .... never had sedation before). If things work we have to decide if to put 1 embryo or 2 back.....

I would like to know peoples thoughts or what they have done...

I have mixed feelings. Put 1 back and if it works we have one healthy baby. But I’m probably to old to old and too much money to do it again....

Or put two back and maybe loose both or get twins.... I have so much going through my head at the moment. TIA
