Newborn sleeping in crib?

This is my third baby and my biggest concern. I’m thinking of putting a daybed in the baby’s room and me sleeping in there. I like the idea of putting the baby in the crib right away so hopefully transition won’t be hard. My first two slept on a rock and play for a while then eventually in my bed since I was nursing. I don’t want to start that again. 
I like the idea of not having to wake my husband up all the time when I’m nursing throughout the night by staying in the baby’s room. 
How/where did your newborn sleep? Do people really sit in a chair to nurse through the newborn phase? 😴 I always just sat up in bed with the boppy but honesty hated that. It wasn’t comfy

I kept my first in my room in a pack n play next to the bed for the first 3 months. She transitioned to her crib fine. My second is about to be 3 months very soon and I plan the same thing. I keep the room dark to change and feed baby so my husband doesn’t wake up. I have a glider recliner in my room to feed the baby. With my first I just fed her in bed and it was so uncomfortable. The chair is a must for me! Do whatever you feel comfortable with though.

I have two bedroom appartment. I have a baby in a crib in our room. He doesn't have his room or nursery, the other bedroom is out office at the moment.
But I nurse in living room couch. Because I find it much easier to nurse while sitting I don't know how to do it laying down in bed. Also it doesn't bother husband much, I usually wake, take the baby, and even if he wakes a bit, he just sleeps on. I do wake before baby starts to scream tough, he usually makes noises before. I want him to sleep a bit, because he works. But if I still am too tired, I wake him to change the diaper. 😃

For the first 4 months we had our son in a bassinet and I tried nursing in the bed but eventually I just shifted to walking into his nursery to sit in my glider. It was more comfortable. At 4 months he grew out of his bassinet so we moved him into his crib. 
But I hear you on nursing in bed. I could never find a good position. I hated sitting up in the bed and my son wouldn’t nurse lying down. So to the comfy chair we went.
