Spotting day after ovulating?

So i believe my peak was yesterday or the day b4 because they were very close in color of darkness but today was very much lighter...we baby danced both times and today and I found some spotting today. More than one wipe but no need of a pad or anything...but its way to soon for implantation bleeding right and I mean that would be too much right? So what does it mean? I've never spotted during ovulation but my period has been late by 4 days this last month and has in the past as well...so what do you think?
