Any moms with toddlers???

Are you picking your toddler up? My girl is almost 2 and about 28 pounds so I didn’t pick her up at all in the TWW but now that I know I’m pregnant (confirmed by blood tests) is it okay to pick her up? I haven’t put her to bed in over 2 weeks and it’s killing me 😭

Yes. I am. I think as long as you are lifting correctly and its something your body is used to, then its no big deal. If you are worried, call your Dr and ask to know for sure!

I picked up my 40 lbs toddler when I was 9 months pregnant almost everyday. As long as your pregnancy is healthy, there shouldn’t be a problem. But also don’t push yourself, you know your body better than anyone else

I have a 20 month old and haven't hesitated to pick her up. Like others have said, our bodies are used to it! 😊

Yes!! I pick up my 34 pound 3 year old all the time. Now that might not be as viable in the third trimester when I have a big belly haha

They say you can do anything you did on a regular basis before pregnancy (exercise and lifting wise). I am 4 weeks 2 days with an 18 month old who weighs 22 pounds. I pick her up frequently. I'm not concerned as long as I'm not letting her like sit directly on top of my stomach while I'm laying down or something.
