Am I Tripping..? This might be a little long..

So check this out y’all... I’m getting my hair braided and this guy I’ve been talking for 4 years..didn’t know that I have to use hair extensions for braids.. (it’s traditional in the Black Community).. but he’s Black as well and he didn’t know that Black women used hair extensions for braids hairstyles....it’s so weird because all the men i known and the black guys at school knew about braids hair extensions.. i did ask him why and i did explain that A lot of men knows about braids..I’m from Georgia you know this...Very southern down here and I went to a historically black university..and i was surrounded by black people everyday and the guys were very knowledgeable and understanding of black women hair because our hair means a lot to us and we get criticize about it from other races and told him about the job Discrimination and i said it’s not bullshit its real life.. jobs are finally allowing black women to wear braids, twist and dreadlocks.. but he got lil annoyed with me and said.. “MY NIGGA I DO NOT KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THAT SHIT LIKE I FUCKING SAID. JUST BECAUSE I HAVE A SISTER AND FRIENDS DOES NOT MEAN I KNOW ABOUT THAT SHIT” and then i said... why haven’t you known that? That’s the first time I know a black guy who doesn’t know. I’m sorry i thought you knew, and he said.. he said... Idk what type of niggas you know but no nigga I know pay attention to that shit. You think cuz I’m black I’m supposed to know about black women hair? Fuck kinda dumb ass logic is that” and i said No....it’s just everyone knows that black women use hair extensions for braids... and yes I know a lot a black men who knows. I went to a HBCU and the men there knows that type of history with black hair .. and my whole life the guys knew too. I’m sorry i didn’t know you weren’t aware🥺”...he said “Man I don’t pay attention to nothing that You make shit more difficult then it gotta be my nigga. I don’t know about that shit. I Genuinely was sorry and didn’t know he didn’t understand or have knowledge of it.. but was I wrong for saying this or is he the type a guy that dont care about hair like that..🥺🥺
