How to recover from breast biopsy?

I had a breast biopsy done last Tuesday. The nurse put on steri strips over the wounds, then a normal plaster, and then one of the big white fabric dressings over that. I took the white dressing off when I showered but I’m too scared to take the plaster off incase it pulls off the steri strips or I start to bleed again. I can see that there’s blood underneath the plaster but I don’t know how my steri strips will fall off if I keep the plaster on. Does anyone have any advice?
