40th percentile for weight?

BF baby here. My daughter had her 6 month appt with the ped and she gained 1 lb. She is 15lb 12 oz. She is 75th percentile for height.
Should I be concerned? Dr said she’s growing but I felt like I wasn’t doing good enough breastfeeding her exclusively???

Pretty much any percentile is fine, unless there's a lot of jumping of percentiles (like 20th to 90th, or something like that). If the pediatrician doesn't say anything, I wouldn't worry about it.

40th percentile is great! The weight gain slows down the older they get. They're burning more calories as they get more active ☺️ sounds like she's growing great, no need to worry about your breastmilk

Mine is exclusively breastfed and she’s only 14lbs at 6 months and in the 6th percentile. As long as her growth charts are trending upward and your doctor wasn’t concerned, I’d try not to worry. It’s hard not to be concerned with breastfeeding though. I constantly worry if my baby is getting enough since I can’t see the amount she’s eating.

My lo is under 20 percentile for height and weight. At the 6 month appointment weight was 14lbs 4oz. They want us to encourage more oz when feeding but the lo takes what they want.

All that should matter is if they're growing at an even steady pace. Just like how some adults are 5ft and some are 6ft babies also come in different shapes and sizes. I have a niece and nephew who are only 1 month apart but one is a solid foot taller than the other
