Water intake??

Question

My little guy is almost 18 months. He doesn’t drink a lot of water at all. He does ask for it if he wants it but never fully finishes a sippy cup of it a day. He also is doing this thing where he just spits it out mostly and thinks it’s funny... wondering if anyone else is having this challenge ?? 
I’ve tried all sorts of different cups too to see if that would make a difference but it does not

We do flavored water or i add a tiny bit of juice to give it flavor cuz he throws a fit if its plain water. Unless hes drinking from my water bottle lol

My son does this he drinks it then spits it out and laughs as he thinks he’s funny doing it I just tell him no then ignore him or take it off him

I just constantly offer it sometimes she does sometimes she doesn’t but I don’t rely on her to grab it herself. I’ve also taught her to “cheers” before we drink so she thinks that’s funny to cling our cups and she will drink it then. You can also offer food like watermelon and grapes that have water content too
