So I think it was last week when I posted about how my SO woke up extremely early and snuggled up next to me and said “you are so pretty”

I take a sleeping med (yes prescribed because I have horrific insomnia) that knocks me out until around a certain hour and he came in at the hour where I will wake up and respond to you if you touch or talk to me and then I will go back to sleep in 0.2 seconds. It’s like the hour before the med wears off. I confronted him about it because I wasn’t sure if he knew that I was aware during that time, and he just came and did it randomly.

I told him how much I loved that and told him to keep doing it.

So every single day he wakes up early and snuggles up next to me while I’m like drugged out and it is the most comforting thing I have ever experienced. There’s something that feels really safe about him when he does this. He will move my hair out of my face because on this med I kinda sleep like a tornado and I wake up with my hair wrapped around my neck and head. He will kiss me on my forehead and rub my back 😭😭😭 he will talk to me too, and I respond but i can’t really remember what he talks about. His voice is so comforting.
